Joanna Grisinger

Joanna Grisinger (she/her/hers) is a legal historian focusing on the modern American administrative state. Her current research examines how administrative agencies handle civil rights, human rights, and environmental concerns. She received her J.D. and Ph.D. in History from the University of Chicago; she has recently taught Law & Society, Legal and Constitutional History of the United States, Constitutional Law II, Law & the Civil Rights Movement, Gender & the Law, and the Advanced Research Seminar.
